REFUND AND WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Version 1.4 · Effective Date: August 7, 2026
1. OVERVIEW
Audio Sommelier is operated by Egységmester Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (short name: Egységmester Kft.), 2330 Dunaharaszti, Gyóni Géza köz 8., Hungary, company registration number 13-09-162959, tax number 24291608-2-13. Audio Sommelier Premium is a digital tasting guidance subscription billed through Stripe Managed Payments, offered on the following plans, which you select at checkout:
- Monthly — €19 for a subscription term of 1 month; automatically renews every month.
- 6 months — €99 for a subscription term of 6 months; automatically renews every 6 months.
- Annual — €190 for a subscription term of 12 months; automatically renews every 12 months.
Each price shown includes any applicable VAT, which is calculated and remitted by the seller of record; the VAT breakdown is shown on your invoice. This policy applies in the same way to every plan; where an amount is calculated proportionately, it is calculated against the total price of your current subscription term. The seller and merchant of record for your purchase is Sold through Link, LLC (a US company and affiliate of Stripe), which handles the sale, billing, and applicable VAT/taxes.
We provide digital educational tasting guidance only. We do not sell, ship, broker, supply, deliver, or include alcohol. Premium gives access to digital content, AI guidance, saved tasting memory and guided tasting tools.
2. EU/EEA 14-DAY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
EU and EEA consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. Premium is a digital service subscription with immediate access. Before payment, you are asked to request immediate performance and to expressly consent to performance starting before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period.
The 14-day period starts on the day your subscription contract is concluded (when payment is confirmed).
Digital service (subscription access): withdrawing within the 14-day period remains possible even after performance has begun with your consent. In that case you pay a proportionate amount for the service provided up to the moment you informed us of your withdrawal (calculated against the total price of the current billing period), and the remainder of any payment is refunded.
Digital content (one-off downloads or other content not supplied on a tangible medium): where such content is supplied immediately with your prior express consent and acknowledgement, the withdrawal right for that content is lost once performance has begun.
If you have not consented to immediate performance and performance has not begun, you may exercise the statutory withdrawal right in full within 14 days by emailing hello@audiosommelier.pro.
More general EU consumer information is available from Your Europe.
3. HOW TO WITHDRAW OR REQUEST A REFUND
To exercise a withdrawal right or request a refund review, email hello@audiosommelier.pro from your account email address. Include your account email, your request, and any relevant Stripe checkout or subscription reference shown to you.
We will review the request against these terms, the Terms of Service, your digital content consent, Stripe transaction records and applicable consumer law. We respond within the period required by applicable law.
3A. VOLUNTARY FIRST-TASTING GUARANTEE
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary commercial guarantee on your first paid subscription period. If your first guided tasting does not show you something in the drink that you would otherwise have missed, email hello@audiosommelier.pro from your account email address and we will refund that subscription payment in full.
Conditions, so that both sides know where they stand: the guarantee applies once per customer, to the first paid subscription period only; the request must reach us within 30 days of that payment; and on request we will email you the tasting notes already generated for your account. We do not ask you to justify or prove your answer. Please note that access to Premium features, including previously generated guides inside the app, ends when the subscription ends.
This guarantee is granted voluntarily by Egységmester Kft.. It is additional to, and does not limit or replace, your statutory rights described in the other sections of this policy, including the EU/EEA right of withdrawal.
